We thank God, I want to thank Nana Amankrado and the people of Akwakupomu, the Pastors of the Various Churches of Akwakupomu, and everyone here for this wonderful atmosphere.
I must say God will be glad about how we've raised his name today on a special occasion like this. I am personally Happy once again I want to say thank you.
I am here today to do three things after that I will sit down for the event to continue.
1. Introduction
2. Reason we are here
3. The Word.
We are Hope Journey, a christ centered youth charity. We visit people in rural areas to share the word of God with them, introduce christ to people who don't know him and we also show christ's love through donations.
2. Our main reason we are here today is to celebrate christ's birth with the people of Akwakupomu especially our younger brothers and sisters through activities like mentoring session, distribution of school bags and free health screening for our mothers and fathers.
The Word.
Now that we know who we are and why we are here I want to share this short message with all of us here.
And the theme of this event is simple.
The Gift of Salvation. John 3:16
And I read
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Let's add the 17
For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
This verse is exciting.
It says

Now let me tell you a story.
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
And through his 7 day activity of creating the universe he created man in his own image. He saw it was perfect and he blessed it.
He made man precede over all the creation and that he could eat everything in the Garden expect the fruit of good and evil. Man didn't listen to God and he was deceived by Satan who came to man in a form of serpent.
Man continued sinning, and the world was without peace so God sent his only son to come into this world to save us. Into a world full of wicked people. Ei human beings are dangerous o. God took a very serious risk by sending his son, his son Jesus, the Christ.
He preached for 3yrs and he was preaching same message of John 3:16.
Now why did God send his son?
1. How humans have problem.
Do you know something has separated us from God.
We are not able to enjoy life and fellowship with God as we should because our sins have brought wide separation between us and God. As the bible says in Romans 3:23
since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
2. Jesus was the Answer.
Do you know Jesus Christ died for our sins?
God has given the answer to our problems in Jesus Christ. He died on the Cross and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. He paid the penalty for our sins.
Bible says in 1 peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree ( Cross), so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by wounds you have been healed.
And confirms in 1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and man, the Christ Jesus.
By now someone is asking so what do I do?
There's the need to receive christ.
If you accept christ and receive him by faith.
Bible says in John 1:12 that;
...To all who received Him, to those who believed in His Name, he gave the right to become children of God.
That is Declaring openly that you accept you're a sinner, and you believe Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose again. And that Christ should take full control of your life and make it his forever!
Today we here inviting you to Christ who is the reason for this season of Christmas. We don't have any other Hope here in these end times the only Hope we brought here is Jesus Christ!
