Remember You're alone.

Growing up my mother told me a story. I learnt a lot of lessons from it and it guided me!

There was a very popular and wealthy man in a town known for his wealth, benevolence and philanthropy. Unfortunately he died and the entire town was saddened and in a state of despair.

On the day of the lay-in-state the entire town cried, wailed loudly exclaiming: "we will go with you". After a few hours of the wailing the electricity (power) went out and the same people who were crying and wailing began running away due to the darkness.

The chief of the town who was also rushing out unfortunately had his funeral attire hooked to a nail on the main canopy erected over the dead body. The chief began to cry and beg the dead man that he was just joking about "going with him" and that it was just a statement of solidarity but not that of actual commitment.

Moral of the story:

Sometimes people would chant to be with you, stand by you etc but the day of the commitment or crucifixion you will be alone. Even Judas betrayed Jesus for coins and Peter denied Jesus. Have a wonderful day!
