State of mind, Stay true to yourself

So a reader on this blog asked me in an email that "how do I adj ust to change in attitude from my friend s? Some of my friends are changing completely ever since I start ed my journey to greatn ess" The message reminded me of Kwesi Arthur's song on his EP 'live from Nkrumahkrom' the title of the song is Back on the Wall, I think Arthur was writing his thoughts on how some friends' attitude start changing when they realise that you are slowly and gradually creating something that can become bigger. I think any dreamer might have met these circumstances before. So I replied the mail like this; My mom told me something when I was younger it goes like "the only person who will never envy your toys at some point in life is God. He created you, He wants you to create great things with your toys." Back then it didn't make sense but right now it makes sense to me. One thing as dreamers we have to know is that, everything else around you changes so ...

Change the world, my manifesto

I am writing this on my way to the NATIONAL SERVICE orientation by GRA. I am sitting in a trotro, my readers outside Ghana, a trotro is a type of public transport here in Ghana. The driver is playing a song I don't know the title but its talking about dreams I think it's wutah's song. It has ignited something in me I don't know I only feel like typing this. All I want to do is change the world for the better and show people that living for Jesus christ is a life worth living. I wish I could connect with the right people to help me make positive changes out here. I want to see the smiles and tears of hardworking parents trying to provide for their kids get relief from their worries through charitable efforts. I would love to be in the position to pay for the education of multiple families and even pay some bills to help people get ahead. To give them a much needed break in life and the opportunity to better their situation. I want to do so much to make this world a ...

A man on a Journey: How did you keep motivation alive within yourself on your journey to success?

Image
…And the dreams and values that King stood for that we  mustn’t  forget. How did you keep motivation alive within yourself on your journey to success? Someone asked me.  According to me to keep our motivation alive we need to find a very very strong reason for what we are doing that particular work ( you can ask yourself that for what reason you are doing that work ) because it works forever while other aspects like watching videos, etc are maintained for shorter time period. And I too really follow this method whenever I want myself to be get motivated for any work which needs hardwork. Motivation is a need based subject. If you are poor, you want to help family and the near and dear, you motivate yourself to achieve. You work hard to make money and create a niche for yourself. If you are rich, you may take it is easy to enjoy life. You may not have that degree of motivation to achieve. A motivation to you could be an achievement and to me there...

The hope journey is dream project come true. I actually thought it might fail, the hope journey wouldn't see light but by dint of hard work and the great team work by the the hope journey family it was a success.  The Beginning:  A young man with a dream was putting his bed room in place and he got the idea of sharing his  clothes with the needy. He told his younger brother, Owusu-Acheampong and he gave him more ideas like adding sharing of bibles to it. Later that day he called his friend,  Okine Ebenezer discussed it with him and he actually lauded the idea and gave his insights into the project.  The following day was his birthday, 6/1/17. There was a small drinkup at the mission house in Mampong Akuapem  he made the idea known and the friends who came to the party were excited about the idea, they agreed and the event got its basics.  They had most of their meetings online (WHATSAPP) and that summer(july) the journey was made. The Spirit of gi...
