Letters to Self - 05/18 | Mothers day is overrated

Mothers day.
Mothers day is overrated
Do you remember the story of your birth? Nine months,  six months, 10 months etc. The pains she went through.

Do you remember your childhood?
Changing diapers, preparing baby food, getting you ready for school, fight bullies for you and making sure you have the best uniform on Monday.

Do you remember right now?
Her visits back in high school, PTA meetings, her missed calls, her prayers before your exams, how she helped to get your fees paid, how she constantly "bores" you about church stuff and her midnight prayers that keeps you going.

Mothers day is never overrated.
